Smitha Rajesh is member of Deepam SHG, is living with her husband and two children.   The family is economically backward and find it very difficult to meet their basic needs. After one year, since her membership in the SHG, she took a loan of Rs. 100,000/- and started the sale of pet animals and lovebirds, rabbit, dog, cat and poultry etc.  Besides this one-month-old chicks, kittens were supplied to the farmers. Now she earns a respectable income from that and able to meet the day to day expenses of the family without any difficulties.
