The Pandit Karuppan Road connecting Thevara, M. G. Road, and Kundannoor were in a pathetic condition for a very long time. The authorities, including the state government and Kochi Corporation, did not respond to the matter seriously. The group tried to act against this by several means. Finally, they decided to campaign for voting for NOTA in the assembly bye-election. It drew the attention of many people, and in that election, a large number voted for NOTA. That made the authorities to act and complete the maintenance work and re- tarring of the road.
